Some families arrive at a photo session already knowing this moment matters. Stacy booked their session before baby Harrison was even born, already anticipating how special it would be to capture their family, finally complete.
She put it beautifully: “When Harrison joined our family, we felt a sense of our family being whole. We had prayed for both of our boys, and they were here! We wanted to celebrate God’s goodness in bringing our family together.”
By the time we got together for photos, Harrison was two months old and all smiles, happiest in Mom or Dad’s arms. His big brother Bennett, two and a half, brought plenty of personality—equal parts silly and cautious, especially for the first half hour. But by the end of the session, he’d warmed up and was busy showing off his toddler charm.
Before they even walked out the door that evening, parenthood had made its mark. Stacy slipped into her new dress only for Bennett to run up and blow his nose right into the skirt. Then Harrison added a little spit-up on the shoulder. “I don’t think anyone can tell,” she said, “but I’ll always think about that when I see these pictures!”
The images we captured that day were full of connection and joy. Stacy’s favorite is of the four of them sitting on the picnic blanket under the tree. Another favorite was John holding Bennett upside down . . . a moment straight from their everyday life.
For a couple that admits they’re more about living in the moment than stopping to document it, this session was a pause worth taking. And now, they’ll have these images . . . quiet, beautiful reminders of a season filled with answered prayers and full hearts.
