Remember the session with the Lamborghini from last summer? Well, that sweet couple came back to SoCal and brought the entire brood! They have FIVE kids! Unfortunately, the day of our session was a traffic nightmare, and they were driving down from Orange County. We were all a little concerned as we watched the sun approach the horizon while they were still on the road. The sun waits for no man, and it didn’t care that there were accidents on the freeway causing massive congestion! When they finally arrived, we skipped the small talk and headed straight down to the water. I’m not exactly sure how long this session lasted, but it was pretty dark when we wrapped it up! If you’re going to shoot a family of seven in 1/3 of the time you usually take, this was the family to shoot! These kids needed ZERO warm-up time, followed directions perfectly, and had fun, zany personalities, just like Mom and Dad! It was exhilarating running around, stuffing in allll the poses, and maximizing every drop of light we had.
