I just think this is the perfect session for a Thanksgiving-week blog!
First of all, the Albert family represents God’s faithfulness to ME in so many ways. Once upon a time, I was an eighth grade English teacher, and Weston and Ashley were in my class (and dating THEN)! Next, I began a 15-year-long stint as a worship pastor’s wife. During that time, we met Weston’s family at their church where we were serving, and especially Weston’s brother Ryan and sister-in-law Sarah. Sarah became a lifelong friend, introduced me to photography(!), and is currently the executive director of Sitterwise, our family’s childcare agency. More recently, Weston and Ashley showed up at the precious school where my kids have done/are doing elementary school, and where Weston and Ashley’s preschooler also attends. Now, we are converging at Shadow Mountain, where we are all worshipping. It’s humbling to see how God weaves His blessings in and out through our lives and how they are intertwined with others all along the way.
Secondly, the Alberts brought a big sign that looks really Thanksgiving-ish. So, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all!
