This was such a beautiful family session on Coronado! The best part about this one might just be the story behind it. I’ll let Megan tell it.
“I had been planning our trip for a year. We wanted to make sure that we could get anniversary pictures done on the exact date of our anniversary. We were married on Coronado on June 18, 2011, and we got to take our ten-year photos on June 18, 2021! Our ten-year anniversary seems like our most momentous one yet, and we wanted to capture our family at this time and hopefully keep up with this tradition at 20 years, 30 years, and so on!”
“Since our oldest was at our wedding, we asked Amy to recapture some photos and duplicate them with both of or sons. We are so thankful and love to see the side by side comparison and growth!”
“We have always cherished our marriage, but celebrating ten years means a lot to us. We had our oldest son prior to getting married and young! He was at our wedding and being able to go through school, challenges, his growth, have another son and celebrate ten years is so special for us because it definitely wasn’t always easy!”
“I love so many of the shots! It’s hard to choose a favorite. I think the boys flipping up sand behind their backs on each other depicts their relationship perfectly!”
“I also love the one of us all building a sandcastle while looking at each other and laughing. “
What’s Coronado family photography without a photo on the lifeguard tower?
“My favorite memory was the boys playing! Their smiles, laughter, and playfulness was captured completely! They were so happy to be on the beach, which made our photo session fun for them! Now, I only don’t have to picture these times in my mind, I have life-long pictures to see their young faces!”
I hope to see this family again BEFORE another ten years pass!
