Jerusha and Chad were SO EXCITED to open that box! This was the first gender reveal session I’ve had the pleasure of doing, and I loved it. I treasure my front-row seat to life’s biggest moments, and I can’t wait to meet this already-much-loved little boy. Hooray for blue!
This family was absolutely delightful. I heard ahead of time that they were concerned their little one-year-old would “run straight out into the water and get all wet and dirty.” Prophetic! But still okay! The evening was perfect for a hands-on toddler on a mission, and the dirtier he got, the more adorable and smiley he became. I’ll take it! Love these images and couldn’t wait to share them!

Fortunately for me, I love every kind of light on the beach . . . but occasionally there’s a night like this, when amazing sky things are happening and I feel especially blessed to be on hand with my camera. Add a gorgeous family, and I’m a giddy photographer!

I loved this summer session and this family’s sense of adventure! Their beautiful girls do cheer and gymnastics, and they had a blast showing off their athleticism on the beach! So fun!
What a blessing to photograph Sally and Drew on their first anniversary — one of the most beautiful evenings of the year. The sky and sunset were perfection!
The Oceanside Pier is the traditional spot for this family’s photos, and it was fun exploring a bit this time, for some new perspectives. Last time I photographed this family, their little miss was only two! She’s growing fast!
This family told me they wanted playful, fun pictures. Sounds like a plan!!

I just love a smattering of clouds. A sky like this is perfect – the clouds threaten to cover up the sun, but it peaks through and makes the sky blue and golden. Add an adorable family and . . . <3
Caitlyn did such a great job modeling for her senior portrait session on Coronado a few weeks ago! I love the variety in her outfits and especially the hat!
