It’s my favorite hotel. Early in my career, when I was second-shooting a wedding, I was tipped in cash and took it straight to the bookstore to buy the huge coffee table book on the history of the Del. I read it cover-to-cover, and I just love knowing some of the details of the rich history of Coronado’s beautiful resort. The beach adjacent to the hotel is my favorite location in San Diego for a portrait session, and I will probably try to talk you into shooting there, if that’s not already your plan.
