Proposing at the Hotel del Coronado
There’s no more beautiful location for your San Diego proposal and engagement session than the stately Hotel Del.

Parking
Paid parking is available in the underground parking lot at the Hotel del Coronado. Street parking is available on Avenida del Sol or on Orange Avenue just after the Avenida del Sol intersection.
Bring
The RING 💍. Please keep a towel and change of clothes in your car or hotel room just in case, especially if you’ve planned dinner after. My clients often get wet, and shots in the water are the BEST, so we don’t want to skip those! While on the beach, travel light so that we can move quickly and make the most of the available time.
Attire
For surprise proposals, this is really important. Your future bride will want to look her best in these photos, so plan a fancy dinner afterward and do what you can to make sure she does her hair and makeup and wears a special dress. Refer to my Style Guide. I will email you the password to access Style & Select.
Dinner Options
There are several restaurants on site at the Del and others nearby, including Il Fornaio which has a beautiful nighttime view of the San Diego skyline. Here’s the scoop on dinner ideas. Again — bring a towel and change of clothes!
