Beautiful, beautiful birthday soiree for one-year-old Suttyn! It was fun working with Paige from Bliss Events and many other amazing vendors who made this little girl’s big day extra special.
What a fun family! These guys love their new English bulldog, and their older dog, too! It is always fun to include family pets in our photos.
I got to meet this sweet family over the holidays. I still can’t get over that little guy and his adorable glasses! Such a cutie!
It has been a pleasure to photograph visiting families at the Grand Del Mar over the last few years. Here are a few samples of my work at the resort.
Our Steven turned six three days before Christmas, and we threw a Big Hero 6 birthday party! Convenient. Since the movie is very new (meaning Baymax plates and napkins do not exist), we had to get pretty creative with the decor. It was fun re-thinking the movie and pulling out fun things to build on. For example, we did a lot with Baymax’s “How would you rate your pain” emoticons, making Oreo cookie lollipops and using red, orange, and yellow gum balls and Sixlets for the candy table.

How I LOVE repeat clients and seeing the kiddos grow! As much as I enjoy the beach, it was fun to switch things up a bit and do a field session for this family for a change. They came prepared in their sweet coordinating dresses, cowboy boots, and big smiles. I was pretty much in heaven.
A perfect family of princesses, twirling on the beach. I loved meeting these sweethearts and their parents. And their clothes – cute, cute, cute!! Check out baby sister’s necklace!
LOTS of favorites here! What an honor to be able to capture the memories of these little ones with their close-knit family and very involved grandparents. Those are some blessed kiddos.
There are going to be some SPECIAL Christmas cards! I love watching these little boys grow up!

I loved photographing my friend and neighbor Ursula and her family! Her dancing daughter Bella did some amazing leaps in the sand!
