Loved photographing this couple whose wedding photos I also took three and a half years ago. Can’t wait to meet their sweet baby girl.

This family loved their black and white photos! While most of my clients are all about the color, it was fun to see so many black and white favorites in this mama’s gallery.

This fun family of girl-cousins had a great time on the beach back in November, when I photographed them to commemorate their grandparents’ 50th anniversary.

I was contacted last October by Super Sam, an organization to help families who are impacted by childhood cancer. They asked me to photograph Gabriel and his family, who were staying at the Hotel del Coronado for a few days, going to the San Diego Zoo, and enjoying the beach. Gabriel was an enthusiastic little guy, energetic and seemingly-healthy, but his dad shared about his long battle with leukemia and that Gabriel’s options had been exhausted. Sadly, Gabriel passed away this month, just three years and one day after his diagnosis. His Facebook page, “Fight on with Gabriel,” celebrates his life. Although Gabriel is now in the arms of Jesus, his fight continues as his parents and friends join with so many other families affected by childhood cancer, working toward increased funding for research in this area. I know his family would appreciate our prayers and our consideration of non-profits like Super Sam, funding research for childhood cancer.

Two amazing families welcomed (surprise! early!) baby boys last week, and I was honored to be able to capture their mamas in the exciting days of anticipation. Congratulations to the D and L families on their beautiful firstborn sons. They are going to be amazing parents, and I can’t wait to see what God has for these two new little lives!

I love watching these beautiful Tennessee girls grow!

Whatever your goal for 2018 – whether looking for a new job or a new friend – a great headshot can make a world of difference. Professional headshots send a message to everyone you interact with that you care enough to make a real effort. It’s the 21st Century digital equivalent of ironing your clothes and shining your shoes.
I’d love to help you put your best foot forward in all of your online interactions.

Love this family and their fun ways! No prompting needed for all the crazy, so two thumbs way up!

Flashing back to some of my pre-holiday sessions that I’ve saved so-as not to ruin the Christmas cards! This late-afternoon, not-quite-sunset session was blessed with blue skies, a few puffy clouds, and two precious little princesses!

One of the most delightful parts of Christmastime for me is giving and receiving Christmas cards, and it is a special kind of wonderful to open a Christmas card and see familiar images included! This year, I received several cards from friends and family whom I photographed in 2017. I love to see the images my friends and clients love best from their sessions, and their Christmas cards always feature the favorites.

Love this family! We did a field session several years ago, then a Coronado beach session, then an urban session for their oldest boy’s senior photos, and now she requested a San Diego skyline session! Well, I’d never done one of those before! It turned out to be a beautiful day with perfect light for the session. <3

A gorgeous evening and a gorgeous family! These sweet clients sent me footage of our session! Scroll to the end for a behind-the-scenes glimpse into what this photo session looked like!
