I loved hanging out with Nolan, my friend Kristie’s son during his Christmas photo session. He loves Legos and Teslas and enjoys being in the Kids Choir at our church. We grabbed a few family portraits with Kristie and Nathan, too, while we were shooting at Balboa Park(http://balboapark.com). Kristie was one of the biggest blessings of my 2021! Although we’ve known each other for at least two decades, Kristie reappeared in my life at the perfect time to fill a big administrative gap at Sitterwise(http://sitterwise.com) with her cheerful personality, professionalism, and creativity, and I’m so thankful to have her on our team. I loved having the chance to get to know her family.

I just love photographing the Crocker family! Christie and I have lots of history since high school, and a lot of our times together have been photography-related: from photography playdates when her older boys were small to birth photography of her youngest kiddos to her brother’s wedding a few years ago. In my marketing capacity, I even peeked into her daughter’s kindergarten classroom once for a website photo with her teacher. This year we headed to Balboa Park for family photos among the gorgeous light and stately architecture.
