Hotel del Coronado Surprise Proposal | Rubin Pops the Question

Rubin had his pre-Valentine’s Day proposal planned for quite a while, and I loved getting to be in on the surprise. For this session, my son Steven second-shot for me and got some bonus angles, along with helping to arrange the candles and rose petals. Jon & Livia’s Elopement | Getting Married at the Hotel del Coronado

Jon and Livia tied the knot near the Hotel del Coronado last week! Here are a few of their favorite images and Livia’s kind review. Although the threat of rain didn’t materialize, it was one of the windiest sessions I can remember! The tide and sky were both absolutely beautiful, though, and so was the couple! We made some lovely memories and images.

I couldn’t have been more pleased when my friend Amy asked me to create her youngest daughter Cara’s senior photos. Although their family lives in New York, I have had the pleasure of photographing all three children in San Diego as they approached high school graduation, and each time I am blessed to catch up a little with Amy and Tony and also to get to know their amazing children. Beautiful Cara has a sweet spirit and a maturity beyond her years, and I have no doubt that she’s going to love college life!
