Photography in San Diego doesn’t usually start at 8:30am, but we don’t usually get rained out in San Diego, either! This family from Maryland needed to head home, so we scheduled our Hotel del Coronado session for the next morning, just as (I hoped) the fog would burn off. Natural light photography can be a little treacherous, with the sun threatening to peek out at any moment and leave us without the pretty filtered light that the clouds bring! In the end, the sun behaved, and I love the bright blue sky and puffy clouds in this session. I also love the way this brother and sister pair loved each other. So cute!!

Getting dressed up for family photos doesn’t mean being someone you’re not. And if you wear your baseball cap 24/7, you just leave it on, and you have photos of

I’m loving looking back on these fun sessions from last summer and early fall. In the meantime, I’m heading back out to the beach, and the sky is beginning to

Still catching up on my summer blogging! These two brothers cracked me up on the beach at the Hotel del Coronado. They were the ultimate pals – brothers and friends.

This couple wanted some sweet, romantic beach photos to help them remember their time in San Diego. The Hotel del Coronado did not disappoint, and they were so daring and

This peaceful little session was perfect for two princesses and their mom. The beach was empty, the sea was calm, and they made their first San Diego memories together.

These San Diego locals own Skateworld San Diego, and their little one is already loving the family business. Can’t you just see this boy speeding around the rink, and his

Flashing back to this adorable family of girls from last fall for this week’s blog post, since the beach has been FRIGID lately! I’m hoping it will warm up soon! img title=”Photography in San Diego | San Diego Beach Photos” src=”https://amygrayphotography.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/2019-02-20_0001.jpg” alt=”San Diego Photographers | Amy Gray Photography San Diego” />

I have had the pleasure of photographing this Texas family four times, from the time their oldest was just a baby. It’s an honor to get to preserve these important

What a pleasure to photograph our across-the-street neighbors, who are such a blessing in our lives. As our kids have gotten older, they have become close friends, and we had playdate after playdate during Christmas break. I loved getting to capture this fun-loving family at the beach at the Hotel del Coronado.

Now that half of this family lives in Tennessee, it’s especially important to preserve the “we’re-all-together” moments. We headed down to Coronado on one of the very busy days at the end of the year, when it was both windy and cold (by San Diego standards), and we tried our best to defy the weather and get some happy, warm-looking beach images to remind everyone of Christmas in San Diego. I think we succeeded!
