Born and raised in San Diego, Joy’s journey began with studies in both fields, aiming to understand the deep connection between environment and well-being.
In 2006, she co-founded Elben & Behling Design, focusing on residential and commercial projects. Her career has taken her from staging homes in Memphis to leading design projects across Southern California, including collaborations with Ojai Valley School districts.
Now, through Joy Elben Design, she offers remote interior design services, blending timeless aesthetics with modern functionality to transform houses into cherished homes.
