This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Tasha Smith Godinez, one of San Diego’s premier harpists and my good friend. Tasha and I made a last minute decision to re-route our session to another location, and I am so glad we did! I loved how these turned out, with her beautiful black harp and dress set against the gorgeous springtime leaves and grass.
What a fun project . . . this handsome Naval officer requested head shots for a Mother’s Day gift to his Mom. These were especially meant to honor his grandfather’s memory. We started at the Midway for a great themed background, and then we spent time duplicating two treasured images of his grandfather, who was also in the Navy many years ago. We took some casual urban shots to round out the session Downtown.
My dear friend Gail is embarking on a new adventure, following God’s call on her life to help others through life’s transitions through her writing and speaking. Gail, also known as “Mama Bones,” has amazing gifts in music and teaching. She has influenced so many in her life, and it is exciting to see how this next chapter unfolds for her! We had a ton of fun in our time together, capturing Gail’s joyful personality.
