Rachel and Dev are engaged! I am so happy for this young couple with a very bright future ahead of them. Dev called me up and asked me to hide out and surreptitiously capture the moment when he proposed to Rachel. I think this is such a beautiful gesture and love that hiring a photographer for your proposal has become a trend. Dev didn’t stop there- he also organized a surprise dinner with both families. You’ve got a good one Rachel! Wishing you both much love and happiness- enjoy every moment.
It is such an honor to be there at a proposal and watch a man honor his future bride by surprising her with a beautiful ring. In this proposal, the ring was not the focus (since it was actually a piece of popcorn!), but the love between these two amazing people certainly was. I enjoyed meeting them both and hearing their story, and I have no doubt they have a long and happy life together to look forward to!
Jason did an amazing job of making his proposal to Nicole a memorable event! I loved meeting this sweet couple and getting to see her reactions!
Donna was a beautiful bride, and I was so excited to be there to see her tie the knot with her “Mr. Wonderful,” Tom. Donna and I have been friends for about ten years, since I stood her up for an interview with Marion’s Childcare. She was gracious and patient and quickly became one of the best caregivers EVER. She has been a huge blessing in my life, and I was thrilled that she asked me to photograph her “small elopement” with a few of her closest friends and family (read: massive mob of people). We headed across the way to the Bluewater Boathouse Restaurant afterward for the reception, and the evening was perfect all around.
I loved meeting up with this sweet couple at Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach. They were amazing in front of the camera!
What a sweet engaged couple!! Rachel was visiting Coronado while Phil is stationed here, and they were game for whatever crazy beach photo ideas I had to throw at them. By the end of their session, we were completely drenched (and I was considering an underwater housing for my camera), and had visited the sunken ship way down the beach. A memorable session, indeed!
This sweet couple, originally from Japan, is spending a year in San Diego and wanted to commemorate the time with photos on the beach. Yuka chose the most beautiful skirt for our session, and she was gorgeous in the sunset light!
What a blessing to photograph Sally and Drew on their first anniversary — one of the most beautiful evenings of the year. The sky and sunset were perfection!
